Bruce is one of the most respected and
acknowledged career civil servants. A lawyer by training, Bruce received
his Queen's Council designation in 1978, and was inducted as an officer
of the Order of Canada in 1990. Over more than 30 years of government
service in Alberta and Federally, 23 were spent as a Deputy Minister
serving under 6 Prime Ministers, 3 Premiers, and 3 political parties.
He is currently a government relations specialist in Ottawa.
