Dale is a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Management Consultant. In addition he has a Business Administration Diploma, majoring in marketing, from Mount Royal College. He was one of eight Canadians in 2001 to receive his Fellowship with the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (FCMA).

Through his twenty-year management-consulting career Mr. Hedges has used his extensive skills in the areas of facilitation, strategic planning, coaching, organization reviews, business process improvement, project management, information technology management and system implementation and planning; in both the profit and not for profit sectors, in a variety of industries throughout the world.

He is an active member of many organizations, including: Canadian Forces Liaison Council Alberta (Provincial Chairman 2003/07), CMA Alberta (Chairman of Provincial Board 1998/99), Toastmasters, Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS), Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Alberta (ICMCA) and the Strategic Leadership Forum.
