Francisco J. Carrillo is Professor of KM at Monterrey
Tech, where he founded the Center for Knowledge Systems (www.knowledgesystems.org)
in 1992. He developed the Capital Systems Model which has been applied
in nearly 100 consultancy projects and the basis of an extensive
KM graduate curriculum. He is President of Mexico's ADIAT KM Commission
and Chairman of the Entovation G/A Leadership Team and is on the
Editorial Boards of The Learning Organization and The Journal of
Knowledge Management (JKM). He has been guest editor for the JKM
special issue on Knowledge-based Development (Vol. 6, No. 4, 2002)
and the forthcoming Knowledge-based Development II: Knowledge Cities
(Vol. 8, No. 5, 2004). He has built a KM network throughout the
Americas (www.iberoamericana.org) and is founder and editor of The
KMetaSite, (www.kmetasite.org). He holds a Ph.D. from King's College,
London, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and a M.Sc,
from UNAM.
