Ms. Chambers has extensive experience within the Australian
film and television industry and in leadership roles at both
organisation and Board level. She was appointed Chief Executive
of Screen NSW in 2007, following her previous role as Chief
Executive of ScreenWest in Western Australia.
Tania Chambers previously worked as an Executive Producer
and Producer with WA-based RT Films Entertainment and Wildfire
Films International, was Director of Business Affairs with
Barron Entertainment, Business Affairs Manager at Film Finance
Corporation Australia and Legal Counsel at the ABC.
Tania Chambers was appointed to the Board of Trustees of
the Asian Television Awards in 2007and 2008 and was formerly
a Jury Member of the Banff International Television Festival
in 2000, 2001 and 2004.
Tania Chambers was formerly Chairperson of the Film &
Television Institute (WA) Inc, Chairperson of Perth Theatre
Company and a Board Member of Screenrights (Audio-Visual Copyright
Society), the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts
(WAAPA) and a Governor of Hale School.
Tania Chambers has a double degree in Law and Arts (First
Class Honours) in German and French literature and language
from Monash University. |
