Susan Lang

Executive Director

Susan Lang is currently the Executive Director of the Association of School Business Officials of Alberta. Susan has been with the Association since February of 1989, having been with the Alberta School Boards Association prior to that time in the Public Relations and Communications areas. Susan has worked in Association Management, specifically in the education sector for the majority of her career. She is currently working on her certification as a Certified Association Executive through the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

Susan was born in Nova Scotia and raised in Ontario and eventually moved to Alberta.  She currently resides in Edmonton with her husband Kim, who was born and raised in Edmonton – a home grown they say.  They have two daughters, currently in post-secondary and who have vowed that will not become School Business Officials as they have to work much too hard!

Susan believes in practicing the 3 R’s on a regular basis– Reading, Relaxing, Recreation.
