Welcome to the Leadership Institute for School Business Officials!

This initiative spearheaded by Association of School Business Officials of Alberta (ASBOA), in partnership with Banff Executive Leadership (BEL), is meant to build hands-on leadership capabilities for the new generation of senior leaders in public education K to 12.

A competency-based curriculum of applied strategic & interpersonal leadership development integrates proven BEL approaches with specific content and case examples from school business environments, including both operational and governance. These modules are designed to take experienced senior leaders to an even higher level of professional performance, including: CFO's, Secretary Treasurers, Directors of: Finance & Administration, Transportation, OHS, HR, Facilities and related areas. Provincial government ADM's and Directors from Departments of Education are also expected to benefit from this program.
